Advestra advises the sellers on the sale of Katadyn Group

Adri­an Schmass­mann, CEO and long-time major­ity share­hold­er of Kata­dyn Group, togeth­er with all minor­ity share­hold­ers has sold Kata­dyn Hold­ing AG to a group of entre­pren­eurs led by Kontivia AG. Adri­an Schmass­mann and fur­ther mem­bers of the Kata­dyn man­age­ment will con­tin­ue to hold a sig­ni­fic­ant stake in the group. Kata­dyn is a Swiss-based spe­cial­ist in port­able water fil­ters and trekking food.

Advestra acted as leg­al coun­sel to the sellers. The team included Beda Kaufmann, Thomas Reut­ter, Annina Ham­mer, Sandro Fehl­mann and Anna Capaul (all Cor­por­ate | M&A) and Laurent Ried­weg (Tax).
