The University of Geneva appoints Rashid Bahar as vice-dean and study director of the CAS FinReg

We are pleased to announce that the Uni­ver­sity of Geneva has elec­ted our part­ner Rashid Bahar as vice-dean as of 15 July 2022. Fur­ther­more, he has also been appoin­ted study dir­ect­or of the CAS pro­gram in Fin­an­cial Reg­u­la­tion (CAS Fin­Reg) offered jointly by the Centre de droit ban­caire et fin­an­ci­er of the Uni­ver­sity of Geneva and the Uni­ver­sity of Bern’s Depart­ment of Economics.

Rashid Bahar has been an asso­ci­ate pro­fess­or since 2009 and full pro­fess­or since 2022. He teaches cor­por­ate law, with a focus on cor­por­ate gov­ernance, lis­ted com­pan­ies, fin­an­cial mar­kets reg­u­la­tion, cor­por­ate restruc­tur­ing, as well as law and eco­nom­ics. Rashid will con­tin­ue to teach along­side his prac­tice as a law­yer at Advestra.
