Advestra advises Société Générale on financing of locomotives for SBB Cargo

Société Générale is provid­ing the fin­an­cing for the acquis­i­tion of 35 Vec­tron AC loco­mot­ives from Siemens Mobil­ity. The loco­mot­ives will be acquired by Reich­muth & Co Invest­ment Man­age­ment AG through its invest­ment vehicle Lok­Roll 3 AG and made avail­able to SBB Cargo for eight years by way of a leas­ing arrange­ment via the asset man­ager Northrail GmbH. Deliv­ery of the loco­mot­ives is sched­uled for 2024.

Advestra acted as Swiss leg­al coun­sel to Société Générale. The team included Alex­an­der von Jein­sen, Annina Ham­mer and Levy Corba (all Fin­an­cing) as well as Céline Mar­tin (Tax). Ashurst, Frank­furt, acted as Ger­man leg­al counsel.
